Number 4 ranked UCLA barely survived a defensive battle against Miami (OH) in the 2K Sports tournament.

If you like defense then this was your kind of game; both teams combined to score only 123 points.

The UCLA Bruins lost three starters from last year to the NBA draft. Fortunately for the Bruin faithful Shipp wisely decided to return to UCLA.

Shipp along with Collison look to be the leaders of a young UCLA team that has one of the top recruiting classes. If the freshmen mature quickly look for the blue and gold to make a run deep into the tournament. The Bruins are our preseason #2 pick.
