Shipp will return to UCLA for his final year as a Bruin. He had previously declared himself eligible for the NBA draft, but did not hire an agent so he would have the opportunity to return to UCLA. I believe it was a good move for Shipp to play his senior year as a Bruin. It will give him another year to improve his game. If he proves that he can remain healthy then he has the possibility of being a middle first round pick next year instead of a late first or early second round pick that he most likely would have been this year. Things are starting to shape up for the Bruins to make a run at the NCAA Final Four again in 2009.
