CBS has recently announced that Billy Packer will be replaced with Clark Kellog as their lead college basketball analyst.
Billy Packer was the voice of the Final Four and had done every tournament since 1975. That is quite a run. While I am sure many people will be disappointed or even furious at CBS, I am glad for Clark Kellogg to get his opportunity. He has put in the time at the network, and deserves this chance to be in the spotlight.
This change has apparently been in the works for at least a year, and Packer was very gracious about it.
Should CBS have made the change, or should they kept Packer until he clearly was not able to broadcast anymore. Leave a comment and let us know what you think.
